Location
Rawlinsville
Fire Department, is located in....You guessed it, in Rawlinsville, PA! We
are about 15 miles south of center city Lancaster, and approximately 60
miles north of Baltimore, MD. We are nestled in a small middle class rural
community in Martic Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. While our
mailing address is Holtwood, the actual "town" of Holtwood is located
several miles southwest of us. We serve most of Martic Township, about half
of Drumore Township, a small portion of Providence township, and a sliver of
East Drumore Township. Our protection area is approximately 65 square
miles, and we have the third largest protection area in the county. Robert
Fulton Fire Company has the most, followed by Quarryville Fire Company, both
in
southern
Lancaster County. If you are familiar with the area, we cover as far north as the 900 block of Marticville Road (south of Frogtown) to as far south as Fishing Creek Hollow (across the river from the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Plant). We have somewhat of a diverse running area, as we are mostly low-density residential, agricultural, and some commercial, and industrial areas.
