WE NEED YOU!!

Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company is currently accepting applications for membership.  If you would like to contribute to your community in a way like no other, then you have come to the right place.  If you enjoy working long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, all for no pay, then becoming a volunteer firefighter is for you!  Perseverance, Bravery, and Dedication are all part of the character in the long tradition of the volunteer firefighter.  If you want to make a contribution to your community, and are from the Rawlinsville, Holtwood, Providence or Drumore area and you are willing to sacrifice some of your free time, then we would be glad to hear from you!  Of course you don't necessarily have to eat smoke to be a part of our organization, you can volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary, or the Fire Police, and help us to help others.

The requirements are quite simple...

  • Be at least fourteen (14) years of age to become a Junior Firefighter....
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age to become a Firefighter....
  • Be able to attend training sessions and meetings....
  • Willing to give something back to the community....

That's it!

Do you think you have what it takes?  If you do, feel free to drop by the station at....
